I've heard from some of the original Northcrest homeowners that this house used to have the same footprint/design as other P&H Splits, that it had caught fire at some point and was rebuilt into the current configuration. However, with a build-date of 1974 I think that idea might be disputed. In any case, this is the only example of this architecture in the neighborhood - I've visited the interior and it's layout is also very different from a typical Northcrest split-level, more a ranch with a partial basement.
