Northcrest Homes in "Living in a Fallout Shelter"

This is something unusual - I was contacted by a fan of the site who lives in Palm Springs who noticed that he had seen some of the Northcrest rooflines in a Public Service video regarding Fallout -

"While looking at your website I realized that I had seen some of your Northcrest rooflines before.  Are you aware your neighborhood appears in a vintage movie about fallout shelters?  If I'm telling you something you already know, my apologies."

Here's an updated link:

If you look at 2:21 and 2:38 you'll see two homes on Northcrest Drive (the A-Frame at 3636 is especially noticable)...

I don't recognize the other scenes in the movie (there are a total of 5 parts, all available on YouTube) so I'm not sure if only the homes were shot here. Interesting though - I believe the movie was from the 60s.

I found this during the summer when The Swim & Tennis Club had "Bomb Shelter Night" as one of the social events (which was TONS of fun!).

I was left out of the loop on that conversation - cool that someone else knows about it.
