When moving to Atlanta from Ft. Myers in 2006, Art Gomez never thought he’d find a home he would love more than his home in Florida.

With realtor in tow (poor Kerry), Art began his Atlanta house search in earnest. He looked in Grant Park, Oakhurst, Inman Park, Brookhaven, and Sandy Springs — then found a house in Stone Mountain, on which he made an offer, but it was rejected.

Moving forward, Art came closer to Northcrest, finding a house he really liked in Embry Hills. It needed lots of work, but it had “good bones.” Again, his offer was not accepted. Finally, Kerry suggested Tucker and they discovered the Northcrest neighborhood.

Art looked at a number of Northcrest homes, but none of them was exactly right. He settled on one on Eaglerock, contract in hand, but still wasn’t really “feeling it.” Sensing Art’s reluctance, Kerry mentioned a house about to be listed and wondered if Art wanted to look at one more house. With nothing to lose and limited expectations, Art decided to take one last look. The moment he walked in the door, Art knew immediately that this was “the one.”

Art enjoys living in a neighborhood with such a strong sense of community, in a home he truly loves (and which sold in “zero days”). Art remarks, “Luckily, I knew the right people who helped find me a home that would surpass my expectations.”
